High surf warnings and advisories canceled as waves decline

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A huge northwest swell that came in higher than predicted has finally subsided.
The National Weather Service has canceled the high surf advisory that replaced the high surf warning that was posted for most north and west shores around the islands.
A new series of swells will arrive this week, with overlapping northwest swells ranging from large to extra large.
